Why and how to commercialize research in life science, 28.2.2019
On February 28, 2019 the CU SP Incubator together with Global Shapers Hub Bratislava prepared the first in a series of lectures of lectures on life science.

The aim of this lecture was to present options for commercialization of scientific knowledge mainly to researchers and students, to spark interest in life science and its practical application.
The speaker, Adam Marťák M.SC first introduced the activities of Global Shapers, non-profit organization founded under the patronage of the World economic forum, as well as his own experiences and current activities in life science.
In his engaging presentation, he then addressed the basis of life science industry and presented the traditional as well as the new view on the industry itself and the new upcoming trends within it.
Then he tackled the main issues of commercialization in life science industry - intellectual property, regulation, financing and interdisciplinary teams.
After the discussion ended, participants voted for the topics in life sciences that they would like to see in the following installments of the lecture series.
