CUSP is officially open!
BRATISLAVA 26th of February 2016: Comenius University Science Park was officially opened today. CUSP is focused on science and research in the fields of biomedicine, biotechnology, enviro-medical and societal challenges of the 21st century in matters of bioethics, law and socio-economic rights. Total eligible costs represent almost 42 mil. EUR.
Grand opening ceremony welcomed many important guests, among them the Speaker of National Council of the Slovak Republic Ing. Peter Pellegrini, Minister of Education, Science, Research and Sport of the Slovak Republic Juraj Draxler, MA, Head of EU Representation in the Slovak Republic Ing. Dušan Chrenek, representatives of embassies in the Slovak Republic, leaders and management of Comenius University, representatives of other universities in the Slovak Republic and another important guests.
CUSP interconnects academic and scientific sphere with private and public sphere - not only within the university level, but with domestic and international partners as well. "CU Science Park represents unique center equipped with the latest advanced technologies interconnecting research to practice. CUSP broaden horizons for further science development in our academic sphere." said rector of Comenius University prof. RNDr. Karol Mičieta, PhD.
