Mentors
Within our Validate and Build & Grow programs, we are happy to connect you with mentors who can help you move your project forward. Mentoring is primarily meant to help you clarify your next steps, gain expert feedback, and make better decisions based on real-world experience.
Our mentors are experts from both the university environment and professional practice. Their role is not to do the work for you, but to help you navigate the process, point out risks, and recommend concrete next steps based on your project’s needs.
We are currently in the process of building and expanding the Incubator’s mentor network.
How Our mentors can help you
Most often, mentors support teams with topics such as:
- Validating the idea and defining the next steps,
- Real-world testing and working with customers,
- Business model, pricing, and basic business setup,
- Marketing and communication,
- Legal topics, finance, and protecting results/outcomes,
- Cooperation with the university and bringing research results into practice (depending on the project type).
Mentoring is part of the support provided to teams participating in our programs. If you are not sure whether the incubator is right for you, feel free to contact us at inkubatoruniba.sk, we’ll be happy to hear what you’re working on and recommend the most suitable next step.
Want to become an incubator mentor?
Do you have hands-on experience and want to help Comenius University students and teams turn their ideas into reality? Mentoring in the incubator is an opportunity to work with motivated people who bring fresh perspectives, and to support projects with real potential for practical impact.
What mentoring can bring you?
- The chance to be involved at the early stages of new university-based projects and innovations,
- Meaningful collaboration with students and multidisciplinary teams,
- An expanded network of contacts in both academic and business environments,
- Visibility through the incubator’s activities.
We are looking for people who can share experience, ask the right questions, and help teams take concrete next steps, clearly, constructively, and with respect for the fact that the project remains in the team’s hands.
If you are interested in joining us as a mentor, email us at inkubatoruniba.sk. Just include what you do and the areas you can support—we’ll be glad to hear from you.
