Grants 2026: Funding for Intellectual Property Protection

The Industrial Property Office of the Slovak Republic, in cooperation with the Slovak Innovation and Energy Agency (SIEA), invites you to an expert webinar “Grants 2026: Funding for Intellectual Property Protection”, which will take place on 18 March 2026.

The webinar is intended primarily for:

• technology transfer centres,
• research institutions and project offices,
• university spin-offs and start-ups,
• researchers preparing the commercialisation of research results.

What the webinar will cover:

• SME Fund 2026 – open since 2 February 2026
  Possibility to receive reimbursement for fees related to:
• trademarks and designs
• patents (national and European applications)
• IP Scan
• plant varieties
• SIEA Innovation Vouchers – a grant instrument that companies can use to finance innovation activities, including services related to the protection and development of intellectual property.

The webinar will provide a practical overview of funding conditions, eligible costs, and the application process, as well as space for questions.

Support for intellectual property protection can significantly reduce the costs of commercialising research results and strengthen the readiness of projects for real-world application.
